Acceptable Use Policy

1. Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to everything you do on BoopReel: the photos you upload, the videos you generate, the videos you share by link, and the videos you submit to the public gallery. It is part of our Terms of Service.

BoopReel is built for one purpose: turning photos of your own pets into fun videos. Uploads must be photos whose main subject is an animal, and that you own or have permission to use.

2. Prohibited Content

You may not upload, generate, share, or attempt to generate any of the following.

2.1 Sexual and NSFW content

Nudity, sexual acts, sexually suggestive content, or fetish content of any kind, including sexualized depictions of animals.

2.2 Violence and gore

Graphic violence, gore, injury, cruelty, or abuse, including content that shows or encourages harm to animals.

2.3 Hate speech

Content that attacks, demeans, or promotes discrimination or violence against people based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, caste, sexual orientation, sex, gender identity, disability, age, or serious disease, including hate symbols.

2.4 Content that endangers children (zero tolerance)

Any content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). We remove such content immediately, permanently ban the account, and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and the relevant authorities.

2.5 Deepfakes and impersonation

Content that depicts, imitates, or impersonates real people, including face swaps and fake videos of real people, or content that pretends to come from another person or organization. BoopReel does not process photos of people; you may not try to get around this.

2.6 Non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII)

Intimate, sexual, or private images of any person shared or created without their consent, including fake or AI-generated intimate images.

2.7 Copyright and trademark infringement

Photos you do not own or have no permission to use (including other people's pet photos), and content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, logos, or characters that belong to others.

2.8 Other prohibited uses

Illegal content or activity, harassment, threats, or bullying.
Spam, scams, or misleading content.
Trying to bypass our safety screening, for example by disguising photos of people.
Automated or bulk access, scraping, or overloading the Service.
Creating multiple accounts to abuse free previews, invite bonuses, or refunds.

3. How We Moderate Content

We combine automated checks before generation with human review after.

Photo screening before generation. Every uploaded photo is checked automatically by an AI vision model (Google Gemini 2.5 Flash Lite) before any video is generated. Photos are rejected if the main subject is not an animal, if a person is visible, or if the photo contains nudity, gore, or violence. Rejected photos are not processed and you are not charged.
Fixed prompts. Users cannot type their own prompts. Every template uses a prompt written and reviewed by us, so the instructions sent to the AI models are always ones we have approved.
Model safety filters. The AI model providers we use apply their own safety checks to generation requests.
Gallery review. Videos submitted to the public gallery are reviewed by our team and only appear after they are approved.
Report review. Every report is reviewed by a person on our team (see Section 4).
Spot checks. We regularly review a sample of shared and public videos, and update our screening and templates when we find problems.

4. Reporting Violations

If you see content on BoopReel that breaks this policy, or content that misuses your image or your work, please report it:

Report link. Every shared video page has a Report link at the bottom. It opens our report form with the video already filled in.
Report form. Use the report form to report any content or behavior.
Email. Send the link and a short description to support@boopreel.com with the subject "Content report".

Please include the link to the content and tell us why you are reporting it. We keep the identity of the person reporting confidential. Reports made in bad faith may themselves lead to action under this policy.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police first. You can also report child sexual abuse material directly to NCMEC at report.cybertip.org.

5. Enforcement

5.1 Response times

We review each report and decide on action within these times:

We acknowledge reports within 2 business days. While we review a critical or high-severity report, we may hide the content right away.

5.2 Actions

Depending on how serious the violation is and whether it has happened before, we may take one or more of these actions:

Warning: we tell you about the violation and the content involved.
Content removal: we delete the video, turn off its share link, or remove it from the gallery.
Feature restriction: we turn off sharing or gallery submission for your account.
Account suspension: we temporarily block access to your account.
Permanent ban: we close your account. Remaining credits are forfeited and not refunded.
Report to authorities: for illegal content, especially content that endangers children, we report to law enforcement and preserve the related records as required by law.

Content that endangers children always leads to immediate removal, a permanent ban, and a report to the authorities. Other critical violations normally lead to a permanent ban.
