Introduction

BoopReel ("we", "us") turns photos of your pet into short AI videos. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you use boopreel.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and how you can access, correct, or delete it.

Information We Collect

Account information: your name, email address, and password (stored only as a secure hash). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google.
Photos you upload: the pet photos you upload to create videos.
Generated videos: the videos created from your photos, and your settings for each video (for example, whether it is shared publicly or submitted to the gallery).
Purchase and credit records: the credit packs you buy, order identifiers, amounts, and how your credits are earned and spent. Card and payment details are handled by our payment provider; we never receive or store them.
Invite records: if you join through or share an invite link, we record which accounts are linked and the bonus credits granted.
Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and request logs created when you use the site.

How We Use Your Information

To create your account, sign you in, and keep your account secure.
To generate videos from your photos and deliver them to you.
To screen uploaded photos automatically so that only pet photos are processed and unsafe images are rejected.
To process purchases, manage your credit balance, and grant invite bonuses.
To send service emails, such as email verification, password resets, and "your video is ready" notices.
To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
To prevent fraud and abuse, and to keep the service running reliably.

We process this data to perform our contract with you (providing the service you sign up for), for our legitimate interests in operating a secure and reliable service, and to comply with legal obligations. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your photos or videos to train AI models.

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run BoopReel, and only as needed for the purposes above:

Cloudflare: website hosting, database, file storage, and sending service emails.
fal.ai: runs the AI models that screen your photo and generate your video. Your photo and the template's prompt are sent to fal.ai for each video.
Waffo: processes payments for credit packs as our merchant of record. Waffo collects your payment details directly under its own privacy policy.
Google: only if you choose to sign in with Google.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.

Videos you choose to share have a public link that anyone with the link can view. Videos you submit to the gallery are shown publicly after review. You can turn sharing off or delete a video at any time.

Data Retention

Uploaded photos: deleted automatically 7 days after upload.
Generated videos: free previews are deleted automatically 30 days after creation; videos made with credits are deleted after 90 days. Download any video you want to keep.
Account information, credit balance, and purchase records: kept while your account is active, and deleted when you delete your account, except where we must keep records longer for tax, accounting, or legal reasons.
Server logs: kept for a limited period by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting.

Your Data Rights

You have the following rights over your personal data:

Access: see your account details, credit history, and videos in your dashboard and settings at any time, or ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Correction: update your name and profile picture in Settings → Profile. To correct your email address or any other data, contact us.
Deletion: delete individual videos from your dashboard at any time, or ask us to delete specific personal data.
Account deletion: delete your account yourself in Settings → Security → Delete Account. This permanently deletes your account, your remaining credits, and your videos and photos. It cannot be undone.
Data portability: ask us for a copy of your personal data in a machine-readable format.
Objection and restriction: ask us to stop or limit certain processing of your data.
Withdraw consent: where we rely on your consent, withdraw it at any time.

How to make a request: email support@boopreel.com from the email address on your account, or use our contact page. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on a request. We respond within 30 days.

If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
